What is the Extreme Village?

Disconnect your laptop, log out of Facebook and stop tweeting! Join us and meet new friends from around the world go horseback riding in the sea, learn to surf, explore Israel’s landscape and camp under the stars!
During the week you will experience water sports - surfing, sailing and rowing and learn how to ride and take care of the horses.

We'll be touring in the country, establish a field camp, cook,build shelters and much more...

Who are we?

INTRA Riding Club and Sport Academy, two organizations engaged in adventure sports have decided to combine forces to create a professional, high quality and exciting activity camp for teenagers.

INTRA Riding Club – of the Israel National Therapeutic Riding Association is specialized in teaching riding skills and horsemanship.

INTRA was founded in 2000 by Anita and Giora Shkedi and have 25 years of professional riding experience.

At INTRA, we combine sport riding and therapy, including interpersonal communication, personality empowerment and leadership.

INTRA's team includes therapeutic riding instructors, sport riding instructors and experts in the field of education.

Sport Academy decided after years of specialization in all areas of water sports to take our great love the sea and bring it to as many children, teenagers and adults as possible.

We believe in the balance between formal education, non-formal education and the great contribution of sports to help in the child development process.

The sailing and surfing clubs of the Sport Academy is centred in three locations in Israel: Tel Aviv, Herzliya and Havazelet Sharon- providing a wide range of water sports activities.

The Sport Academy was founded by an Olympic athlete, windsurfing European champion in 2000, Tal Matchoro. .

When and where does it happen?

First period: from Sunday the 8th of July to Thursday the 19th of July 2012

Second period: from Sunday the 22th of July to Thursday the 2nd of August 2012

Third period: from Sunday the 5th of August to Thursday the 16th of August 2012

The activities will take place at INTRA and at the Neurim surfing club, both located in Havazelet Hasharon (30 minutes from Tel Aviv, and 40 minutes from Haifa). The two centers are within walking distance from each other.Link to Google Map

Who is invited to participate?

The camp is for boys and girls, aged 13-18, from Israel and from around the world, who want to meet new friends and have an appetite for adventure.
The camp is suitable for those who don’t speak Hebrew!
